Reagents, cartridges, tubes, filters, adapters, or sample holders can be equipped with an RFID transponder and identified before use. The device checks whether the material used is suitable for the application, the device, or the approved process.
This ensures that only suitable accessories are used and reduces misapplications during operation.

Mobile assets in facilities can be automatically tracked using UHF RFID readers like the iDTRONIC RFline E4 and suitable gate antennas. Beds, transport trolleys, medical devices, etc., are tagged with RFID transponders and recorded at defined transition points, storage rooms, or capture points. This makes it traceable which resources pass through an area or were last recorded.
