Transparent production processes

SOLUTION

E-Kanban: Trigger replenishment directly at the shelf

The empty container is placed on the top shelf and immediately automatically detected by the UHF RFID read/write device, e.g., the iDTRONIC RFline U1. The ERP system receives the signal in real-time and automatically triggers a new replenishment order. As soon as the replenishment is available, a picking order is generated, fully integrated into ERP and MES systems.

This way, replenishment control and material provision with RFID are automated, ensuring greater efficiency and speed.

SOLUTION

Capture along the production and assembly line

Components and assemblies are reliably captured along the entire production and assembly line, even in harsh environments such as a paint shop. Depending on the object, transponder, and required range, suitable UHF RFID read/write devices are used, such as the RFline E4 with an integrated antenna or the RFline M30 read/write head.

This creates greater process transparency across the entire production and contributes to seamless WIP tracking.

SOLUTION

Machine and Area Authorization

iDTRONIC HF/NFC Embedded Modules are integrated directly behind the front panel of machines and automated systems, reliably verifying, for example, via employee ID, who is authorized to operate a machine. Alternatively, the Panel Reader Neo can be used as a standalone solution, functioning as a digital key switch.

This allows for flexible, traceable, and tamper-proof implementation of access control in manufacturing.
